Roselawn Cottage has a bespoke high-end kitchen with a superb range of appliances.  There is a high-level electric oven, ceramic hob, integrated dishwasher, fridge-freezer and wine cooler. There is also a washing machine, tumble dryer, DeLonghi coffee maker, microwave, kettle, toaster, air-fryer and slow cooker.

There are two cosy living-rooms with comfy seating ideal for relaxing or chilling out.  The parlour has a TV and radio/CD player. The snug has a wonderful games table ideal for playing cards, backgammon, chess or draughts. Bookshelves hold an eclectic mix of reading material.

Children are catered for too with a “kiddies’ box” of games, jigsaws and books.

The bathroom has a heated towel rail and provides Causeway Aromatic toiletries.

Both bedrooms are beautifully decorated and furnished.  They each have a hairdryer.  The beds are dressed with premium linen with designer throws and cushions. There are USB charging points. A range of towels is also provided.  There is electric heating throughout. Kindling logs and peat are supplied for the stoves. There is no charge for the Wi-Fi.

Robes, slippers and bath sheets are in-situ for making use of the hot-tub.

The cottage is an unique 19th century listed GRADE B1 property with a 5-star tourist board rating.  Located just 20 miles from Northern Ireland’s two airports, and 2 and a half hours from Dublin airport, 10 miles from Larne Harbour and 18 miles from Belfast Harbour.  It is in a superb location to explore the main tourist attractions. The world famous GOBBINS CLIFF PATH is less than half a mile away.  The Giants Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage site is one of the must-see geological wonders along the renowned Antrim Causeway Coast Road. Top attractions, such as the Old Bushmills Distillery, Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, The Dark Hedges, Glens of Antrim, Carrickfergus Castle and the iconic Titanic Centre are all within easy driving distance.

Sitting in its own spacious gated grounds with private parking including an electric charging point (free for guests to use) the cottage boasts excellent accommodation for 4 guests. A single storey building which blends original features with ultra-modern amenities, Roselawn Cottage has been lovingly restored to the highest standard possible. This holiday home has 2 bedrooms (a king and a double), a beautiful bathroom with a shower sanctuary, a fully fitted bespoke kitchen with high end appliances including a wine-cooler, DeLonghi coffee maker and air-fryer.  There is even an Irish ‘Grannies’ Recipe Book and a large rustic dining-table at which to enjoy your culinary delights!  The kitchen has a peat-burning stove to sit beside on a chilly day as does the Irish Parlour where you can relax at the end of the day.  There is also a snug, complete with games table, a mini library and music system.

Outside when the sun shines in the landscaped gardens there is a brand new 7-seater hot tub, furnished patio areas with gas BBQ, patio heater and sun parasol.

There is also a magnificently equipped summer house with everything guests could require – tables and chairs for 6 people, a little bistro set, picnic hampers with melamine tableware, fairy lights, sun loungers to take outside and baskets of throws and cushions. Retro bicycles are also supplied for guests to ride leisurely along the country roads. There are 12 fruit trees, a herb trough, and a hen-coop with 4 chickens who lay eggs every day! Guests can avail of all these – imagine collecting the freshly laid eggs for breakfast!
